He lived life on his own terms, often dropping everything to help a friend.

Andrea was diagnosed with devastating news of stage 3 Primary Mediastinal Large B-cell Lymphoma with mets to her kidneys at 32 years old with three children and family farm. Through her illness and three long series of treatments, her family stayed strong, helping her to her chemo treatments every three weeks, caring for her when she couldn’t eat and encouraging her when she could barely work 8 hours a week. She is bravely fighting for her family – her life.

During Andrea’s treatment she realized that her eight hours of work per week was not enough to cover her employer offered health insurance premium. The Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation paid for those premiums to keep her and her family insured through the time she was unable to attend work. She is alive and healing.
