SHE’S FIGHTING FOR HER FAMILY

She is bravely fighting for her family – her life.

Amber, - Yamhill County

Amber was diagnosed with devastating news of stage 3 Primary Mediastinal Large B-cell Lymphoma at 32 years old with three children and family farm. Through her illness and three long series of treatments, her family stayed strong, helping her to her chemo treatments every three weeks, caring for her when she couldn’t eat and encouraging her when she could barely work 8 hours a week. She is bravely fighting for her family – her life.

During Amber’s treatment, she realized her eight hours of work per week was not enough to cover her employer offered health insurance premiums. The Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation paid those premiums to keep her and her family insured while she was unable to work. Amber is alive and in remission.
