David

During David's fight with cancer, the Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation had the opportunity to contribute to his legacy by paying his rent and electricity. David passed away on November 22, 2019.

Amber

During Amber's treatment, she realized her eight hours of work per week was not enough to cover her employer offered health insurance premiums. The Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation paid those premiums to keep her and her family insured while she was unable to work. Amber is alive and in remission.

Sam

The Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation lifted Sam's spirits by helping him with mortgage payments, groceries, and health insurance premiums. An eloquent speaker at the Foundation's 2019 Summer Sip and Savor, he was always searching for ways to give back to his community and those who helped him. Sadly, Sam passed away in December of 2019.

Beth

Through her illness and three long series of treatments, her family stayed strong, helping her to her chemo treatments every three weeks, caring for her when she couldn't eat, and encouraging her when she could barely work 8 hours a week. She is bravely fighting for her family - her life.
